A Deeper Inspection involves the full disassembly and thorough testing of your camera to accurately identify the underlying issue. Each component is individually examined, and the time required varies based on the camera model, repair complexity, and current order volume. The overall process typically takes 6–12 weeks.
Once the Deeper Inspection fee is paid, your camera enters our repair queue and is serviced on a first-come, first-served basis. This ensures all customers are handled fairly and efficiently. After the inspection is complete, you will receive a detailed repair quote. Your camera maintains its place in line, and once the issue is identified, the repair process moves very quickly.
The Deeper Inspection fee is non-refundable, as it covers the labor required for full disassembly and testing.
- If the camera is repairable, the inspection fee will be deducted from the total repair cost.
- If the camera is deemed unrepairable, the inspection fee will be issued as store credit.

Repairs are typically completed and shipped within 6–12 business weeks from the date your invoice is paid. Please note this is an estimate and may vary based on order volume, repair complexity, and parts availability. If you need your camera sooner or by a specific deadline, please contact us as soon as possible—rush service may be available for an additional fee. Once your order ships, tracking information will be sent to you via your confirmation email.
All repairs are carefully completed and inspected before leaving our shop. If your item isn’t performing as described, please contact us. Unless otherwise noted, repairs include a 30-day functional warranty when used with proper care. This warranty applies only to the services listed on the paid invoice, covers labor only, and does not include shipping or additional parts.
